5 yrs later.

Well yesterday was my 5th anniversary.
We Celebrate anniversaries a little bit differently than most.
We dont exhange gifts, We dont make a fuss. We just spend all day with eachother and our kids.
Its basically just another day for us. But Jason and I do go out on a date just the two of us.
My grandparents watched the kids, So Jason and I went to ridgeway and ate at a really great place called Siam. neither of us had never eaten thai food before, but on our anniversary we eat something different. It's a ritual we started the day of our first. We eat a at place that we have never eaten and we get something that we normally wouldnt think about getting. It's kinda silly I know but we try our best. We ate our meal and a man walked in, he was a very kind man who was just passing through on his way home. He was all alone and he took a seat at the bar next to us. *we ate at the bar because we didnt want to sit at a table fore 6* We had a really great conversation with him for about an hour as we ate our meal. he is getting married on the 5th of may. So we had a few toasts.. Jason with his coke, Me with my Chocolate and Strawberry Herbal tea and he with his shot of Saki, We toasted to many more wonderful years. We ended the night by putting the kids to bed together and going to bed ourselves. I do have to say though, that last year may not have been our finest, but we are so in love. We are going to work through all of our issues and go forth in a manner that is pleasing unto our heavenly Father. because at the end of the day, what he thinks of us is all that matters.
